January has been a very exciting month regarding achievements within the Microsoft Dynamics space. With the Ocsars and Grammys just around the corner, we thought it was appropriate to highlight some of the outstanding events that transpired last month. We would like to say congratulations to:
1. The New Microsoft Dynamics MVPs
Another yearly quarter, a new round of Dynamics MVPs. 943 professionals was pronounced MVPs this quarter, and among those professionals, we would like to shout-out Mohamed Aamer. Mohamed is a Dynamics AX professional in Egypt. He participates in user Dynamics groups, writes a popular AX column on MSDynamicsWorld, and he is also a fellow Twitter follower. Congrats to all the MVPs for their achievements and thank you for your contributions to the Dynamics community!
2. BDO Canada and Business Solutions Alliance
On January 7th, BDO Canada, a Microsoft Dynamic Gold Partner specializing in ERP, announced a merger with Business Solutions Alliance. This merger brings BDO’s clients more software options and complements their current Microsoft Dynamics practices. Chris Johnsen, National BDO Solutions Partner, stated We are very excited to welcome BSA to our practice, which will satisfy the need to provide an entire suite of Microsoft Dynamics solutions, adding to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
3. Flintfox International Limited
On January 17th, Flintfox, software providers for trade promotion activities, confirmed they were invited to join the Microsoft Dynamics Global ISV program. This partnership will ensure Flintfox customers will be able to enjoy the latest innovations on a Microsoft Dynamics platform and their TPM integrated software. Mike Ridgway, CEO of Flintfox, says: The Global ISV program will allow us to capitalize on the extraordinary success we have today and align Flintfox TPM closer to the Microsoft technological platforms.
4. Rand Group
Rand Group, professional services firm and Microsoft Gold Certified ERP Specialists, has successfully obtained their 15th Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 certification. This achievement puts them in the top 5% of all Dynamics AX partners to achieve this goal. William Wu, Executive Vice President of Rand Group, says: We have high expectations for our team members at Rand Group, and we’re always thrilled to see them succeed in expanding their professional accreditationsÂ We constantly seek out new opportunities to improve our client offering, and with the addition of our 15th Dynamics AX certification we’ve solidified our position.
On January 20th, Perfion and their partner from Australia have signed their first customers in Australia. Their new customers, NHP Electrical Products, are excited about Perfion’s management solutions with Dynamics AX integration. Acquisition of a new customer is always very exciting, and it’s great to hear that companies are using Microsoft Dynamics AX as their ERP solution. Congratulations again!
