What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect, preferably based in North America, available to work during business hours EDT. Reporting to the Director of Architecture, you will be responsible for designing and executing Azure cloud solutions, leveraging your strong M365, Intune, directory and identity services background.

You will assist and advise on all relevant projects that have heavy components in the areas of M365, directory and identity services, SSO, MFA, Intune, RBAC, PIM, Azure Policy, AD, AD Connect, ADFS, and Azure AD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale Azure solutions
  • Design and document scalable solutions to support critical infrastructure services running in Active Directory, such as LDAP, DNS, and authentication and identity solutions
  • Design, document, test, and implement appropriate backup and disaster-recovery mechanisms for all Microsoft enterprise platforms (Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, etc.)
  • Design, solution, and plan cloud migrations and the evolution of client services once in Azure
  • Leadership and delivery of project-based assignments that encompass system architecture, proof-of-concept, and deployment services
  • Facilitate and lead client configuration planning meetings and articulate pros & cons of design/architecture decisions across a wide spectrum of factors
  • Strong customer relationship skills and willingness to lead customers through successful challenging projects which includes estimating, scoping, and writing effective statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk.

What You’ll Bring to The Role:

  • Degree in computer or business-related field (Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems etc.)
  • 2 years minimum hands-on experience building complex cloud environments on Azure
  • 5+ years of architecture, solution design and implementation and/or support of environments run on Azure or across hybrid-cloud environments
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in technical solutions development using Microsoft platforms with extensive experience in design, architecture, and deployment
  • 2 years minimum experience solutions consulting spanning full-lifecycle technical leadership from requirements gathering through to implementation, and transition to operations.
  • Design, planning and implementation experience with Azure, Windows & AD technologies
  • Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPOs in Azure and/or Hybrid Cloud environments
  • Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS and other MS core infrastructure technologies
  • A strong level of comfort guiding clients in their secure implementation of RBAC, PIM (including implementation of Just In Time, Just Enough Access Administration, Admin/User Access Reviews), Managed Identities, Intune, SSO, MFA, and Conditional access in Azure
  • Experience with implementing policy driven governance in Azure
  • A working knowledge of the MS Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well Architected Framework

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an experienced Director, Information Security based in Canada.

Reporting to the VP Technology Operations, you will be responsible for leading the Information Security team, driving strategic direction while continuously providing and improving the underlying security services utilized throughout WatServ’s offerings.

In this role you will also work cross-functionally with other departments and teams, using risk management principles, to ensure that internal initiatives requiring their involvement are fully understood and supported by the whole organization. As well as partnering with various teams to provide guidance to business stakeholders to address their security challenges.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach the Information Security team
  • Define, Execute and Manage the Information Security Strategy:
    • Ensure WatServ’s security posture is compliant against best practices, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27000 series and Center for Internet Security (CIS) Critical Security Controls
    • Lead the delivery and operations of corporate Information Security offerings to the expectations of the organization and its standards including key metrics reporting.
  • Information Security Operations:
    • Information Security Governance Management, including developing policies/standards/procedures, managing controls / control activities, and evidence collection
    • Maintain a knowledgebase comprising a technical reference library, security advisories and alerts, information on security trends and practices, and laws and regulations
    • Conduct threat risk assessments to identify security and control weaknesses in technologies, processes and operating procedures
    • Work in collaboration with risk owners to develop action plans for remediation including implementation of controls, one-off activities, or risk acceptance process
    • Develop measurements and metrics to define success in alignment with industry benchmarks
    • Information Security Awareness and Training Management
  • Information Security Advisory
    • Lead security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an experienced Security Operations Specialist based in Canada. Reporting to the Director, Information Security you will be responsible for review and investigate security issues and take appropriate action for WatServ and our clients. This role requires deep understanding of technologies to appropriately identify malicious activity / threats, respond to incidents, analyze vulnerabilities while recommending and/or implementing changes that will appropriately reduce security exposure. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Security Monitoring, including:
    • Maintain security monitoring toolset, including deployment or coordination of the install of agents, configuration of devices to be properly monitored
    • Document processes, diagrams, flowcharts etc. as it relates to Security Monitoring.
    • Participate on interconnecting the security monitoring toolset (SIEM, SEM, SIM etc.) with sources of security incidents – e.g., logs from servers, network and security devices, Vulnerability Management system, Antivirus system, etc.
    • Review and report on technical aspects of Information Security, such as access management controls (privileged access, group memberships, multi-factor authentication etc.), infrastructure security controls (network segregation, VPN etc.), data protection controls (storage encryption, backup encryption etc.).
  • Vulnerability and Secure Configuration Management, including:
    • Implement and perform secure baseline scanning.
    • Implement and perform vulnerability scanning.
    • Review, analyze and remediate/coordinate remediation/recommend remediation steps for results of secure baseline scanning.
    • Review, analyze and remediate/coordinate remediation/recommend remediation steps for results of vulnerability scanning.
  • Information Security Incident Management, including:
    • Act as first responder or escalation point, depending on incident severity, following Incident Response Playbooks.
    • Analyze incidents escalated by first responders.
    • Involve SME’s or escalate incidents, as required.
    • Determine the root causes of incidents.
    • Develop documentation as it relates to Incident Management, including Incident Response Playbooks.
    • Participate on automation of the incident’s prioritization and false positives identification.
  • Security Architecture & Technical Security, including
    • Participate in discussions providing consultation on the security best practices, policies/standards adoption etc.
    • Develop / Review / Update hardening standards documentation based on security best practices (CIS, NIST, vendor-specific etc.).
    • Recommend or implement changes as it relates to Identity & Access Management technologies (Azure AD, Active Directory, LDAP, Radius, TACACS+ etc.).
    • Recommend or implement changes as it relates to Infrastructure Security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection etc.).
    • Recommend or implement changes as it relates to Data Protection technologies (storage encryption, backup encryption etc.).
  • Security Operations Products Vendor Interfacing
    • Perform as functional bridge amongst security operations products vendors and customer issues.
    • Troubleshoot security operations products issues and present to management as required.
    • Identify improvement opportunities and continuously enhance efficiencies associated with security operations vendors/products.
    • Support and explore expansion of security operations products as required.
  • Metrics & Reports 
    • Develop / Collect / Automate metrics and reports for clients’ and WatServ’s environments, including ones for:

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Cloud and Infrastructure Operations you will be responsible for deploying, managing, maintaining and monitoring private and public cloud environments both internally and for customers. Maintenance and management of these environments will be critical for meeting Customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and expectations. You’ll also be involved in managing the internal systems for the company, including email, demo sites, and portals, etc.  and we’ll train you on all of our leading-edge technology.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with networking administration skills and experience working with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory Administration, Application Delivery, VMWare Administration and Public Cloud technology.  WatServ is a 24x7x365 Service Provider and so this role may be subject to a rotating shift schedule. Travel to local data centers may be required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor alert and notification management systems and respond accordingly through services records
  • Work with internal and external clients to investigate and resolve complex issues related to production level systems in a timely manner
  • Optimize the operation of domain-specific systems with a constant focus on uptime and availability
  • Track and monitor Cloud environment metrics to determine growth and resource constraints
  • Participate in public cloud deployment and management (Identity, Compute, Storage, Containers, Security, Networking, Migration, Windows Virtual Desktop, Serverless Computing, Management and Governance)
