What Is The Value Of Working With A Microsoft Azure Partner?

Microsoft recently announced their 2021 partners of the year. These prestigious awards have been running since 2019 and focus on the service and innovation provided by partner companies in over 100 countries. One of the sections in the awards focuses exclusively on cloud partners – the award for Microsoft Azure Partner.
Some of the 2021 Microsoft Azure Partner winners will be familiar corporate names to anyone following the business press – companies such as Accenture, Wipro, and CapGemini. These are all strong, smart, and experienced companies, but they are also very large, usually with a global footprint.
If you are a small to medium company it makes sense to work with a smaller more flexible Microsoft Azure Partner familiar with dealing with your unique requirements. At WatServ we work with companies with as few as 10 to upwards of 5,000 employees.
It should be very reassuring to know that if you need advice and you choose to work with an Azure partner from the official Microsoft partner network, Microsoft has vetted them and confirmed they meet or exceed all expected criteria. The company you are talking to has expertise and technical skills to help you plan and do the work you need – not everyone can just sign up to be a partner because it looks good on their website!
Secondly, look out for additional awards that go above and beyond membership of the partner network alone. These additional specialist achievements demonstrate where Microsoft Azure Partner’s can offer highly detailed partnership and advice.
WatServ is a great example. Last May, our team announced that we have earned the Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop advanced specialization (previously known as Windows Virtual Desktop), a validation of the company’s deep knowledge and extensive experience in deploying, scaling and securing virtual desktop infrastructure on Azure. Just last month WatServ also earned advanced specialization for Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure.
Who decided on these specialist awards? An intensive third-party audit takes place and reports back to Microsoft on WatServ’s Windows Virtual Desktop and Azure Migration technical practices. These capabilities help customers deploy and navigate the licensing efficiencies to deliver an ideal solution.
Many individual members of the WatServ team hold the following certifications: Azure Security Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator and Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert. Our team is made up of some of the brightest minds in the industry and these specializations serve to confirm our level of proficiency.
It’s not a challenge to find a Microsoft Azure Partner, but if you want a partner with the right specialist skills and with the flexibility to treat you as a valuable client then the field narrows. Smaller companies can’t easily turn to giants for advice, but they can still get the best quality service and support from a partner such as WatServ.
Our commitment to innovation enables us to provide modern, high-value cloud technology solutions for our clients. If you need an expert Microsoft Azure Partner, but you don’t want to call on one of the largest tech advisers on the planet then check out our website here.
